Now known for their exclusive and unique ambiance, The Velvet Monkey took the Eswatini restaurant scene by surprise when they opened their doors in 2021. Tucked away secluded garden, this wooden cabin serves some of Eswatini’s finest meals and signature cocktails.

As the sole designer involved in establishing the restaurant's visual identity, I had the privilege of spearheading the creative process from the ground up. This included developing a dynamic logo that captured the essence of the restaurant's unique setting, tree-dwelling monkey inhabitants, and exclusive ambiance.

Overall, it was a pleasure to establish The Velvet Monkey's visual identity, and I'm proud of the way it turned out – creative with a touch of sophistication that echoed their refined atmosphere. The restaurant has been a huge success, and I like to think that the branding played a small part in that.
